For the past 3 weeks of the Post-preggie Challenge we have focused on joint mobility to loosen the stiffness and tightness Geraldine is experiencing as a result of her pregnancies and the learning the foundation TACFIT techniques, postures and protocol for upcoming training. From now the real TACFIT training begins.
Today’s focus is the completion of the full Q Challenge.
Today Gez completed full TACFIT Q Challenge for the first time. We use the Q Challenge in the third week to gauge Geraldine’s fitness level at the beginning of the challenge. We will revisit the Q Challenge at in the last week of the Post-preggie Challenge to measure Geraldine’s fitness improvement from the Post-preggie challenge.
To our surprise, Gez scored a 28 in her first Q Challenge and maintained a heart rate of137 bpm! This is an exceptionally good first Q Challenge score. It shows that Gez has practiced the training techniques learnt in the first three weeks and diligently applied them to the TACFIT protocol.
To put Geraldine’s score into perspective — A score of 40 and above reflects being able to hold excellent technique while still pushing fitness levels when performing a TACFIT protocol. Gez has only 12 points to make up in order to achieve a level of excellence on completion of the Post-preggie Challenge. We will be working closely with Geraldine on correct form and breathing techniques to create an effortless flow out of her exercise to perfect her TACFIT protocols and achieve success in her week 12 Q Challenge.
Well done Gez! We look forward to seeing you achieve a score 40 at the end of the Post-preggie Challenge.
